US Conference of Mayors opposes Arizona’s Illegal Alien Law SB 1070

The U.S. Conference of Mayors is meeting in Oklahoma City. On Monday, June 14 they will be voting on their Resolution 41 opposing Arizona’s Illegal Alien Law SB 1070. It can be found on page 102 (87 of the document) of the linked PDF.

It was reported they were debating using language such as “unconstitutional” and “unAmerican,” but decided to leave it out.” Among other things Resolution 41 states:

“The United States Conference of Mayors register its strong opposition to Arizona Law SB 1070…”

“The Conference of Mayors support the court challenges to Arizona Law SB 1070 brought by Arizona mayors and/or their cities;…”

“The elimination of current obstacles to citizenship that have resulted in 10-12 million undocumented residents living in the shadows…”

“Measures similar to Arizona Law SB 1070 are now being proposed for consideration in several other states; and..many acknowledge that it was a lack of Congressional action on immigration reform which lead to passage of SB 1070 in Arizona and may lead to similar actions in other states…”

If you want your Mayor to know how you feel it would it be advisable to let them mayors know how we feel about this e.g. personal tweet to them or through #USCM10 being used for the conference.

By not reversing and stemming the invasion of illegal aliens is America committing suicide?

Illegal aliens should either be in jail or deported, but certainly not rewarded

I don’t recognize my country anymore either!
